The Story Behind EdiBottle™

At EdiBottle™, we believe cake decoration should be as unforgettable as the celebration itself.

Our journey started with Cakesburg, our family-run luxury cake brand in Berkshire, England. Since 2016, we have handcrafted thousands of bespoke cakes for weddings, birthdays, and corporate events.

Why bottles? Because party and celebration icons are universally recognised — from the 🍾 of champagne corks, the 🎉 of streamers, and the 🎂 of birthday cake. A bottle is a universal symbol of good times, and over the years at Cakesburg, we noticed something: almost every luxury cake theme that customers requested — from birthdays to weddings — featured a bottle in some way. Yet real bottles were heavy, unstable, and unsafe, even though customers loved the look.

That need inspired us to experiment. In 2017, our cake artists developed a unique process using a special mixture with isomalt as its main ingredient and double-walled, heat-controlled moulds. For the first time, it became possible to create edible sugar bottles with the perfect size, weight, strength, clarity, and shine to replace glass. Our bottle designs are unique and protected under trademark.

That is how EdiBottle™ was born: realistic, fully edible sugar bottles that bring luxury, surprise, and storytelling to cakes.

Today, our mission is bigger. We are building a premium collection of handmade edible decorations, combining pastry artistry with innovation. From bottles to custom toppers, our work is designed to make every celebration truly unforgettable.
